We will be opening to full time status starting July 11. Mon to Fri 9:30 to 6 Sat and Sun 9:30 to 5.
Strawberries are in!!! It’s time to stock up for the winter make jam, freeze to enjoy in smoothies, frozen drinks or as novelty ice cubes. Don’t forget to enjoy them fresh, chocolate covered or in a pie or how about strawberry shortcake.
We’ve been quite busy this spring we have lots of new crops we are trying, golden beets, white radishes, and purple carrots, just to name a few. Our onions are in the ground, as well as a wide variety of potatoes. As soon as the sun shines again, tomatoes and peppers will be planted. There are beans and squashes sprouting, as well as carrots, beets, radishes and a wide variety of salad greens.
We will be starting the open season on a 2 day a week schedule, starting Sat. May 21, 2011, from 9:30 to 2:00, and again Wed. May 25, 2011 from noon to 6:00. We will hold this schedule until more vegetables start maturing, and then expand the days and hours to full time.
We will have available broccoli, mesclun, our own blend of red leaf lettuce, and swiss chard. Also, ground beef, both regular and diet lean, hamburg patties and stew meat. We will also still make appointments if our schedule does not coincide with yours, so feel free to email or call ahead, so someone can meet with you.
